What does your fridge/pantry look like??? Do you buy two of everything, to avoid cross contamination or do you avoid cross contamination completely by not buying gluten filled foods? My house is completely
GFree, I do by the occasional regular loaf of of bread when my little brother comes to visit us. But, other than that there is not any gluten filled foods in my house. My husband eats what I make, other than whatever he eats when he's away from home. I continued to buy some gluten filled foods for about a month after being diagnosed and I personally think it was too stressful! Especially when we had company, I really worried about somebody double dipping in the butter and stuff like that. For me life is just easier without gluten filled foods.

ReplyDeleteI have a roommate who thinks cooking a frozen pizza is haute cuisine, so aside from a few things in the freezer, my entire fridge is GF. (He's moving out soon, in part because he doesn't understand the concepts of paying his bills or that his pizza crumbs getting all over the kitchen can make me sick, so soon the fridge will be entirely GF. I CAN'T WAIT.)
ReplyDeleteBTW, this is @annaphallactic from Twitter. Nice blog!
Thank you grace, and your button is in the mail so expect it soon. Deanna, isn't it funny how some people think making anything frozen is a homemade treat? I've never understood that, especially since I've always been a huge foodie. Thanks for the compliment, it's taken me a while to make it pretty...since I didn't really know what I was doing at first.
ReplyDeleteMy place is GF. The magnet would look perfect on my fridge! Great blog! I'll be back.
ReplyDeleteMy fridge and pantry are gluten free. The only gluten products I have is cat food, but I don't eat it, lol. I do have to wash my hands after feeding them.
ReplyDeleteAsparagus, natural peanut butter, salsa fresca, spinach, baby carrots, colby jack, orange juice, leftover stirfry, xantham gum and Redbridge. Mmmm.
